Integrating vocabulary

You know when you hear a certain fancy word, and you kind of wish that you would be able to own the word enough to rattle it off like it's nothing?

Today was a significant day for me. On this day, I successfully integrated the words caveat and paradigm into everyday conversation. Well, it was kind of everyday conversation. I was actually working with some students as a writing tutor when I used the aforementioned vocab. I hope they were impressed, and I hope that they made the goal that one day they too will be able to use such sophisticated discourse.

Maybe I am the only person who has the goal to use big words. I'm pretty sure I got my inspiration from the movie Clueless where Cher teaches Ty to use one new word every day. I hope I don't see you sporadically.
