In this family...

My username is "inthisfamily." This phrase comes from the fact that I try to impose "rules" on my roommates. I figure the best way to add authority to what I demand is to say, for example, "We don't sleep commando in this family." This is actually part of our "Family Rules," of which others include "In this family we go to the bathroom with the door closed." You may wonder at the necessity of these rules, among others that we have...however, I am here to tell you that rules such as these actually are quite necessary in our apartament, unfortunately. The moral of the story is, if you want to tell somebody else what to do, just say what you want and then add "in this family" at the end (or the beginning, whatever's your pleasure). In this family we blog each other... which is why my roomie Kim made me start.
